Canine "Nero" served the El Paso community as a police dog for 9+ years. He was commissioned by the El Paso Police Department on June 6, 2011 and retired on October 26, 2020.

Mother, armed son accused of attacking off-duty El Paso officer moments after crash

Local 1250 Scholarship
The annual Local 1250 scholarship was awarded to Erin Heisinger, son of BHE Lineman Chris Heisinger. Erin plans on attending Mitchell VO-Tech. The scholarship is for the $350.00. Congradulations to Erin and best luck on his future endevers.
